Step 2: Purchase tow vehicle ✅

Well, it’s time for us to share another update. We successfully sold the house! We closed last Friday the 16th and are very excited to start the next phase of our journey. While it still hasn’t quite sunk in yet that we’re making real, tangible steps toward our dream, the plan is in motion. We think it’s starting to hit the kids with being here at a family member’s house as a temporary living solution, but also seeing our house emptied out. As Reya asked upon seeing what used to be her bedroom all empty for the new homeowners: “Mom, did you steal my bedroom?!”

We also made the second largest purchase of our lives (the first being our houses). We have our tow vehicle! It’s a gorgeous white Ford F-450 and we are so excited to welcome it into the family. We will make so many memories in this truck as it transports us (and our home!) across the United States. It’s even got plenty of space for Socks during our travel days. She’ll learn to love it.
