Halloween Fun

Well, we’ve wrapped up our Halloween week and it was fun! We met up with Fulltime Families, a group for full time RV families to meet up, get to know each other, and share tips and tricks about the lifestyle. It was SO worth it! Kai and Reya had a lot of fun running around with the other kids and doing fun planned activities, like fair games, pumpkin decorating and carving, tie-dye, Halloween crafts, and more. We even did a family scavenger hunt around the campground that the kids won candy at!

For actual Halloween we did a trunk or treat with the other gathered families. Kai was Harry Potter and Reya was Anna from Frozen. I was the green M&M with five other m&m moms. There was a Halloween dance afterwards that the kids had SO much fun dancing with glow sticks. Reya won the littles Halloween contest and she was so excited! She even shared her candy prize with the other littles that didn’t win. We were proud parents, for sure.

Dustin and I have also begun making bonds amongst other like-minded adults. Dustin has been bonding with the other dads, going on paddle board rides and group runs. I’ve been bonding with other moms, as evidenced by my group Halloween costume and a group tattoo! We’ve had two date nights (the kids were all watched by one of our new friends’ teenager), a mom’s night out (margaritas were had and the tattoo idea was born), and a dad’s night out. It was definitely a week full of fun, new friends, and wonderful memories!
