Our latest adventure brought us back to Louisiana! After meeting a lot of new friends in Crockett, we said goodbye and moved on to Lafayette, LA. This was a good month to reset our schedules and spend time together. We toured the Tabasco factory and Jungle Gardens on Avery Island as our big outing, but we also spent a few hours at a local park that had a cool tree net the kids could climb on as well as a small splash park that the kids enjoyed. Our campground that we stayed at had two donkeys that Kai and Reya loved to say hello to and feed fresh grass. We even snuck them some apple pieces!

The campground had a pool and a playground that Kai and Reya were able to enjoy as well. While in Lafayette we were able to do a hike near a frisbee golf course. Dustin came upon an owl sitting in a tree that he quickly showed to the kids. It was pretty cool to see an owl in daylight, just watching us. Most of the month was spent focusing in on lessons and getting things back on schedule. We look forward to new adventures as December rolls on by!
