Red Reef

We just wrapped up our time in Utah. I’ve been slacking on these blog posts! One of the first hikes we did as a family was the Red Reef trail. This was a really cool trail that has a lot of different variety of things to see while also remaining easy enough for our little hikers. We saw desert landscapes, cacti, flowers, mountains, streams, trees, a small pool, and so many cool spots to climb around! Reya had fun looking for her next play “house” along the trail (she lived in a cave for 64 years!).

We reached the small waterfall which was our stopping point. In order to continue along that trail we would have had to go around the rock by the waterfall, which none of us (except Kai) felt confident about. There were plenty of other things on the way back that we enjoyed seeing again or noticing for the first time. This was definitely one of our favorite hikes in the area and we definitely recommend it!
