Special Outings

We changed our route to Utah for a Fulltime Families event, named Red Rock Rendezvous. So we met up with old friends and new friends for a week of get-togethers and activities. It was a lot of fun! We booked the campground last minute for the month and as a result had to park a bit away from the group, which could have been better, but we had a GREAT view of the mountains from the top of the hill! Dustin and Kai signed up for the ropes course at The Ropes of Southern Utah with the group. We confirmed, Kai is part monkey! He had so much fun on the ropes and zip lines and Dustin had some good smiles too.

Reya wasn’t old enough to do the ropes course so she spent some time in the playground directly underneath the ropes on the playground (she loved the trampoline). Overall it was a fun time for everyone. Next was mom’s night out, which included axe throwing. It was also such a great experience! I learned that throwing knives is much harder than axes and throwing stars, but so much more fun and rewarding! The week then wrapped up with a fun dance, which Reya and her friend bounced and twirled to the music. We considered it a successful week as everyone enjoyed themselves and we all made new friends!
