We wrapped up our time in Utah with a few more group hikes. We went back to the Red Reef trail but started from the opposite side of the trail to experience more of it. It was still really cool to see the differing sights within the trail. The kids all had fun scrambling rocks together. We also did a hike on the Quail Creek Trail, running next to the reservoir. The water was so beautiful and the sun was shining. Overall it was a nice hike where the kids enjoyed the view.

Reya and I spent some time making brownies during the week. They turned out delicious! We saved the recipe. Kai got to hold a friend’s bearded dragon at his camper while Reya and the girls watched K-Pop Demon Hunters. Reya got to drive our friend’s golf cart while going to an event down the hill (we didn’t crash!). Reya also got to see the Jellystone Mermaids while we were enjoying time at the pool. She is now requesting a mermaid tail. Finally, I got to sneak away with some of the other moms to attend a Mahjong night where four of us learned how to play for the first time. It was so much fun and many of us also got to enjoy a dirty soda for the first time (mine was Dr. Pepper and coconut cream – so yummy). Overall our time in Utah was wonderful and we will definitely be going back!
