For those that are unaware, the past few weeks were spent at our “home base” in Minnesota. We sent our RV into the dealership for regular repairs before our one year warranty was up (nothing too major). We are so blessed that the timing worked out where we could stay with my in-laws during the repairs. The kids have very much enjoyed having the space to run and play again and we’ve all enjoyed the lake and spending time with the grandparents! Reya’s had lots of driveway space to draw chalk masterpieces. We got a new folding table and the kids have enjoyed opening a play-doh kitchen. The whole family got to work on a jigsaw puzzle (1,000 piece map of the national parks and monuments).
We’ve also enjoyed the lake a lot. The kids love swimming and have done swimming lessons with daddy (with no life jackets). One of Kai’s favorite activities is fishing off the dock and he’s pretty good at catching fish! He’s gone in the fishing boat with daddy and papap (grandpa) and caught a large fish too. He’s even enjoyed simple things, like sturdy door frames to become a monkey.

Overall we’ve been enjoying a slower pace for now, though we’re looking forward to having our camper back!
